Weijie's 1st update from Boston!

Hallo!!

I'm back after quite a while..=p been busy with a lot of things since things have been decided..and wow..can't believe that I am in Boston now. It all began 6 months ago when I got that email... ...haha but i'm sure you will not want me to tell the whole story here and I can't remember the details of the series of events that happened since..Haha i better update my blog a bit before school work starts kicking in tmr! =)

The fact is..I'm now in Boston! where everything is different from what I have seen since young..starting from the basic concept of day and night (jetlag!), super-sized food portions (I hope I'll never get used to it or else..super-sized weijie u'll see in a few years..=p), baseball craze (support the red sox!), all the technology experience, flexibility of the systems here..etc etc. I have barely recovered from all the culture shock that I have received since I arrived from day 1. I have to admit I'm a 'mountain turtle' who went Wow woW WAH when I was in New York. =p I am looking forward to more travelling if possible during the winter break..my first official Fall and Winter seasons coming up real soon. I'm very excited! =D

My 1st home when we first arrived in Boston! courtesy of xinyi..=) The 1st day was terrible coz of the hard floor and we could not slp well + jetlag+ days of moving our 4 big luggages here and there..but 2nd night was ok and 3rd night onwards..i've my new home! All these would not have been possible without these people: Joana, Zhiqiang, Xinyi, Ben and of coz..my dearest Yinky!! Thanks!!! =D

I live on the 3rd floor so it's plenty of exercise for me everyday..gut! =)

it's really nice! esp after we improvised after the 1st try. =p we also tried making soups without meat! it's really delicious! of coz not as nice as mummy's soups..but..good try! =)

We went on a day trip to Newburyport and Gloucester with Joana last weeekend.

I have to admit that certain brands are really cheap here..control yourself weijie..=p

Standing in the middle of New York City's Time Square makes me feel vibrant and lively! It's so colourful everywhere...in my opinion, nice place to visit but not to live in. i'll be back! =D
